Scheduling qualified candidates is overwhelming and tedious.
Every year MGM recruiters hire over 20,000 hospitality employees while also managing 3,500 internal transfers and 1,300 open job requisitions. Each recruiter handles between 30 and 100 open requisitions at any given time, relying on in-person hiring events to expand their sourcing reach and fill positions quickly.
Average calendar experience of a recruiter
Why is this happening?
Here, recruiters juggle disconnected-legacy-systems-of-record to manage events. Leading to inefficiencies, redundant tasks, and lost candidate engagement. Legacy systems are rigid, failing to clean, organize, and scale data effectively. Additionally, event management lacks seamless ATS integration, forcing manual tracking of RSVPs, applications, and engagement. Outdated systems hinder scalability, making data fragmented and difficult to adapt to modern hiring needs.
What we delivered
Outcomes
Within the first 30 days of release, we received positive feedback and behavior from candidates and recruiters.
We had one month to design and ship this feature. I partnered intensively with engineering, customer success, and product, leading rapid development through constant communication, daily micro-alignment, and no-code ideation. I continue to refine the Events page, pursuing both visual and experiential improvements while deepening integration with existing tools.
